I MISS CALIFORNIA!!!

I haven't been back to California since last spring break and I am going through a faze of really missing it. I can't explain, I just have to accept. I made this collage on polyvore in hopes that it would ease my desire to visit California. It kinda worked. A few of the items that I used are ones that I have been eyes for a while like the Topshop printed one piece suit. I guess I am really into the printed swimsuits this season but I have yet to purchase one of my own. Stacked braceletes are also something else that I am kind of into, they add character, I don't really know any other way to put it.

Versace Spring and Summer 2012

Another post from a while ago... but its here now! When I first viewed the Versace Spring and Summer collection, I knew that I had to write about it, I was absolutely in love. Something that I really love about this collection is that necklines in many of the pieces. They manage to be unique but still look like a wel thought out collection. Here are few of my favorite looks from the collection:

Gypsy Inspiration

Bonjour mes amis (yes I take French), I have been saving this blog for a while now, sometimes forgetting about it and other times deciding on something else, but here it is. I gathered these photos a few weeks (months?) ago when planning for a photo shoot with two of my friends, Chloé and Ariel. We had a professional photographer and I was given the honor to choose the inspiration. So, after much deliberation, I decided that I wanted the theme to by Gypsies! For some reason, gypsy fashion has always been very interesting to me and so when I was making outfit ideas for the shoot, the idea came to me. So, heres the Inspiration to the shoot; Gypsies and Flowers...

Incase you forgot or haven't seen the shoot that goes with this inspiration, here is a refresher:

Cry Freedom and Scraped Knees

So the other day, my friend Chloé and I were planning on going to this blogger event downtown. Five minutes before we got to the event, Chloé received a informing her that anyone under 21 could not attend. We were all dressed up and everything so we decided to have an impromptu photo shoot of our own, despite not having a theme. But I guess the background with the "Freedom" bench goes along with the holiday (fireworks, independence, woooo). We each styled our own look and used our own pieces (minus the heels I wore). So, enjoy the photos and happy Independence Day all you Americans!

Sorry if this grosses you out, I understand. But after falling, in the middle of an ally, with heels three sizes too large, I just had to put this in.

Chloé's Look:

Skirt: Her Design
Heels: Jeffrey Campbell

My (Sarah's) Look:
